The People says just a week into his reign, manager Mourinho has made his mark at Carrington with a series of changes created to wipe out nearly all trace of former boss Louis van Gaal.

“Six newcomers will join Mourinho in working with the first team and the existing specialist departments at the Aon Training Complex”.

He was also joined by his backroom staff which included goalkeeping coach Emilio Alvarez, and was closely followed by exciting summer signings Mkhitaryan and Bailly who both interacted with supporters.

Club legend Ryan Giggs, who had served as number two under former boss Louis van Gaal, departed Old Trafford after 29 years of service when it became apparent he would not hold such a prominent role under Mourinho’s stewardship.

The move has been instantly popular with the players, who have welcomed the new direction Mourinho is taking the first-team squad.
