Paddy responded that he has always wanted to meet some players from his favorite English football team. His granddaughter Kayleigh took it upon herself to make his wish come true and amazingly it did.

Three days later some of United’s stars – Marcus Rashford, Jesse Lingard, Ashley Young and Timothy Fosu-Mensah – came to visit Lawler on his sick bed.
They were so down to earth and chatted to him, had pictures and signed some shirts.
Despite the request seeming like a long shot, Lawler’s granddaughter, Kayleigh, posted an appeal on Facebook for anyone to help get in touch with the club in order for his wish to be granted.
Kayleigh paid tribute to the players in another Facebook post, describing them as “incredibly selfless”.
The post Man dies minutes after Man-U players grant final wish appeared first on Punch Newspapers.
“I want to get this as a surprise, he’s a MASSIVE fan”.
“But they were great with him”.
“It was obviously really, really emotional for all of us.”I’m just so glad we were able to do that for him and give him that memory”.
A grandfather-of-13 was visited on his death-bed by four Manchester United stars – and his family are convinced he “held on” to see them.
Luckily, the post was spotted by Jesse Lingard’s cousin who helped set up the whole meet. “Sure my grandad’s over the moon”, she said.
