Months of speculation, negotiations and deliberation bore fruit in the early hours of this morning as the open secret of the 23-year-old’s United return was made official.
The five-year deal marks the second time United has welcomed Pogba – he played for them under Alex Ferguson in 2011, but the club sold him to Juventus a year later for £1.5 million.
Pogba signed for the Red Devils for a world record £89m transfer fee thus making him the world’s most expensive football player.
Pogba came across as chuffed and dead keen to get started in Manchester all over again. I’m sure he can help me improve and make me a better player and a better person’.
“That will come with time hopefully, but first the Premier League – I’ve never done it”. He was a losing finalist in the 2015 Champions League as well as Euro 2016, as France lost to Portugal in Paris.
‘I just feel happy.
“I am delighted to rejoin United”, said the French worldwide. “It has always been a club with a special place in my heart and I am really looking forward to working with José Mourinho”, he told the press.

“My deepest respect to the clubs who considered having me”.
“Paul told me before he left that he wanted to be the best player in the world”, added Ferdinand, who made 453 appearances for United after a British record £30m transfer from Leeds in 2002, added.
But without the fitness base provided by a full pre-season, a more realistic target for his first game is the game against Southampton at Old Trafford on August 19. At 23, he has the chance to make that position his own here over many years.
