United made the announcement in a one-line statement on Sunday, Aug. 7, 2016 under the hashtag “Pogback”.

Manchester United have announced the signing of Paul Pogba from Juventus for a reported world record fee of nearly £90million.
And according to Sky Italia, the midfielder will arrive in Manchester later this morning, and undergo a medical at the club’s training facility in Carrington in the afternoon, ahead of finalising a world record transfer.
The Red Devils are expected to pay over £100 million for the Juventus star, with a medical now underway. The Welsh forward cost Real Madrid around 85 million pounds when he joined from Tottenham Hotspur in 2013.
“I don’t think Real were upset when they broke the record with Gareth Bale or Cristiano (Ronaldo)”. I honestly don’t know the exact amount of money we have paid for Pogba, though if it is a new world record I don’t think we need to be sad about that.
“If you ask if I think it is a lot of money, I think football is insane”.
“What you think this season is insane you realise three years later is not insane anymore”.
Mourinho has so far signed defender Eric Bailly from Villarreal, midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan from Borussia Dortmund and former Paris Saint-Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
United, 2-1 winners in the Community Shield against Leicester thanks to Ibrahimovic’s late victor, open their Premier League campaign at Bournemouth next Sunday.
“We couldn’t entice players to come here and we couldn’t keep them when we had the best ones”. We have everything to give him.
Ex-Valencia boss Neville added: “I think it is a big fee, but the Premier League was losing players left, right and centre to Spain, all the grade A players”.
‘Here he has the conditions to develop in the most seen championship worldwide, which is incredible, with a team that wants to bring Man United to the top again’.
Now the Frenchman is among the brightest young talents in the game after winning four successive Serie A titles with Juventus and becoming a regular for his national team.
‘Money you will get at any big club, that’s not the point.
“He comes because he knows the club, he knows the city, he knows numerous players, he wants to be an important part of the Man United project so hopefully everything goes well and he comes to our team”. “Hopefully everything goes well”.

“I think it’s important United go back to signing players that actually fit the profile of the club, which is to play with dynamic strength, with power, with pace”.
