Manchester United manager decided not to comment on reports linking Victor Valdes with a move to Beşiktaş.

Besiktas believe that they have reached an agreement with Manchester United to sign Víctor Valdés, the goalkeeper who fell out of favour with Louis van Gaal.

Apart from Besiktas, Turkish rivals Fenerbahce and Galatasaray were also said to be interested in signing the stopper, but the report claims that the former have won the race for his signature, with the club agreeing a two-year deal with the Spanish global with an option of a third year.

For some reason, EA delayed giving Valdes a Man United card on Federation Internationale de Football Association 15 Ultimate Team in the first place when the initial transfer updates went live in the game. He was then demoted to the U21s before being dropped entirely for allegedly refusing to play for United’s second string.

Van Gaal has made five additions to his squad since the end of last season, with Memphis Depay, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Sergio Romero, Matteo Darmian and Morgan Schneiderlin all joining the Dutchman’s Old Trafford revolution.

De Gea has been omitted again from the United squad for Wednesday night’s Champions League qualifier with Club Brugge, and will only come back into the mix at the club should he end up staying beyond the transfer deadline next week.

However, Van Gaal will only bring in players he feels can make a difference and his targets, which include Bayern Munich star Thomas Muller and Southampton winger Sadio Mane, are highly valued by their own clubs who are reluctant to sell.
