United won five major trophies in their last stint with the sportswear giants and will be hoping that the new deal will send them back towards the Premier League title.

In just hours, the deal with Nike officially ends and the new deal with Adidas kit begins.

The new strip marks the start of a record-breaking 10-year partnership with United and adidas.

All three kits – home, away and alternate – are inspired by the 1980s designs where Adidas remained the kit manufacturer for United, before being replaced by Umbro in 1992. As you understand Manchester United Football Club broke a shirt sponsor report once they switched from Aon to Chevrolet. The new deal between the company and United “clearly underlines our leadership in football and will help us to further strengthen our position in key markets around the world.” This landmark sponsorship is not the first time we have partnered with the Club and it is with these iconic kits of the past that we drew our inspiration from.
