Guardiola declared his Premier League ambitions on Tuesday, saying he hasn’t yet signed a contract with a club.

Manchester United are not looking at Pep Guardiola as a potential replacement for Louis van Gaal in the Old Trafford dugout as he doesn’t possess Premier League experience, according to La Liga expert Graham Hunter. Hunter was quoted as saying by Talksport. We are trying everything to come to a solution but at the end it always comes down to we are better than the opponents.

“It’s not for sure he will be the manager of a Premier League club”.

“I think the atmosphere in our dressing room is very good”.

Guardiola is viewed as one of the world’s finest football coaches.

Will Keane has been training with Van Gaal all week after the Manchester United manager terminated his loan deal with Preston.

United had a long list of injuries during the festive season and although many have since returned, it is likely Louis van Gaal will use it as a chance to rest some of his starters. “If he can play Monday in the second team (at Reading) he shall play in the second team”. It’s just one versus one out there, they may have that extra bit of quality of threading the ball through the eye of the needle, but we have players who can do that too.

The former Netherlands boss has also dismissed suggestions that his side have adopted the more attacking approach demanded by the club’s supporters, though he hopes his attackers now have more confidence.

Ashley Young was also taken off in that game as a precaution, but is fit to face the Blades, whilst Jesse Lingard returns after five games out with a hamstring injury.

He said: “Phil Jones is injured and a lot of players are in the red zone”.

Van Gaal arrested that slump with victory over Swansea last weekend, but the Dutchman does not believe that necessarily means his team have turned a corner.

Adkins, who took charge in June, said: “There’s a growing belief among the players, I can sense it”.

Van Gaal is, quite understandably, keen to foster a harmonious environment within his squad, but he claims there should be plenty of room for constructive criticism at Carrington and Old Trafford too.

Gareth Bale would be crazy to join Manchester United under Van Gaal
