Mane ruled out of Burnley clash, Emre Can returns

“You experience it in a meeting – how he talks, the way he coaches from the sidelines with a lot of passion”, Wijnaldum said ahead of this afternoon’s Premier League clash with newly-promoted Burnley at Turf Moor.

Striker Daniel Sturridge and midfielder James Milner are in contention for Liverpool ‘s trip to Burnley after returning to training this week. “We’ve known the situation with the new stand for a long time”.

He said: “It’s a real coup for the club to get him and a great asset for us this season”.

Sean Dyche says he’s a fan of Jurgen Klopp’s methods at Liverpool. Nathanial Clyne is the choice at right back and the center back pairing of Lovren and Klavan played fairly well at Arsenal.

He told the club’s official website: “We’ve learnt a lot from last time we were in the league and a lot of the squad have had a taste of Premier League football”.

It wasn’t the worst opening to the 2016 Premier League season for Burnley.

Jurgen Klopp is optimistic that Sadio Mane’s injury is “not too serious”, but admitted he is unsure whether he will feature this weekend. So we concentrated on a few things we tried to change. “He just can not play right back”. For others, it’s just like, “park that, let’s move on and get another one in”.

“So one can get injured, and if another gets injured during a game, you still have an option”.

“He knows it’ll be a challenge for us”.

For all the goals however, there’s still many questions asked about the amount of goals being leaked at the back. I thought we could have done better. Well, I wouldn’t get too confident, because you should know how often we like to throw this kind of game.

Liverpool do not have adequate left-back cover with Moreno the only specialist available to Klopp.

Liverpool defender Jon Flanagan is also now at Burnley – he’s on a year-long loan from Anfield but he is ineligible to face the reds under Premier League rules.

Having finished 19th in the Premier League in 2014-15, Burnley returned at the first attempt by topping the Championship but it was a familiar story back in the big time last Saturday as the Clarets opened with a deflating 1-0 home defeat by Swansea. Either result would suit Klopp’s men though a clean sheet would be bordering on the miraculous given how frequently the Reds still ship goals.

The Clarets’ home form will be key to their survival in the top flight, but they will be wary of Liverpool’s attack, who are in form following their four-goal spree against Arsenal.

Chelsea are expected to make it two wins in a row to kick off their Premier League campaign and the form of Eden Hazard could well be the key with the Belgium worldwide seemingly enjoying life under his new manager. Lallana and new signing Mane, were the other two goal scorers.
