According to sources, Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan has taken cognizance of the issue and is likely to call parliamentarian from Punjab on Friday.
“I come to Parliament everyday between 8.30 and 9 am to submit question for Zero Hour…”
Resonating similar sentiments, Minister of State for Minority Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said no one should play with the security of Parliament at a time when already a terror attack has taken place. My intention was not to malign the image of Parliament or put security of risk.
JD(U) MP K C Tyagi said he was surprised and scarred as the video exposed loopholes of the security. “Lok Sabha Speaker should intervene in this matter and must ask for an explanation and until then he must be refrained from entering into the Parliament”, he added.
The video recorded by Bhagwant Mann, a member of the Aam Aadmi party as he entered through the Parliament House’s entry gate, questioned the security arrangements in the area.
After the video went viral, Mann clarified saying “First thing first, I was just talking about how the Parliament functions”. She is also likely to seek a detailed report from the Parliament security on the issue. “I will again make a video and put it. Let the notice come”, a defiant Mann said in response to reporters query whether his act was a security breach or not. “Google Earth shows approach to Parliament on its website”, Mann said in his defence today. As he describes the process, a security official is heard telling him not to take photographs.

In the video, he says that the process is entirely transparent and shows how the lucky draw is carried out to select the questions.
