Looking as lost as Bluto Blutarsky with pencils stuck up his nose, Manning was stuck with a grade of 0.0. Even the great Tom Brady, who legacy will be cemented by his team success along with his individual accolades, did not put the staggering Peyton Manning type numbers until his breakout year in 2007.

The National Football League records he sets or the regular-season record of the Broncos will mean nothing if Manning limps into January only to get bounced from the postseason one more time.
Considering the Chiefs’ history against the Broncos (7-2) Sunday’s win was therapeutic, regardless of the different factors that played in the Chiefs’ favor, of which there were a few.
Charcandrick West ran for a touchdown and caught an 80-yard scoring pass from Alex Smith, helping the Chiefs (4-5) snap a seven-game losing streak to the Broncos (7-2).
Manning eventually was benched, with Brock Osweiler finishing the game. Body language is a powerful thing and it looked like Berry was just so happy he didn’t want the play to end.
Kubiak said Manning remains the starter and he will start next week’s game at Chicago if his health permits.
“If [Manning’s] healthy and ready to go, Peyton is our quarterback”, Kubiak said.
Manning, on the other hand, went 5-20 for 35 yards with four interceptions. He had a rushing touchdown in each of his first two games, and added a receiving and rushing touchdown on Sunday. I was honest with them with how I felt, thought I was good enough to play.
Manning did start, and hindered by injuries, he threw four interceptions, dropping his season-long touchdown-to-interception ratio to 9-to-17.
Yes, Manning and Osweiler combined for five interceptions, but much of their poor play can be pinned on an offensive line that wasn’t getting the job done in front of them. Kansas City was tremendous throughout the afternoon, notching five sacks and the same amount of interceptions. With the Broncos’ defense unable to carry the team to victory, the Broncos need to figure out what they will do moving forward.

The game was halted after Manning’s milestone throw, and Joe Horrigan from the Pro Football Hall of Fame secured the ball. The Broncos haven’t been shut out since the Raiders held them scoreless on November 22, 1992….
