Manning, Colts Denounce HGH Report
Peyton Manning may be going under intense scrutiny in the wake of a bombshell report by Al Jazeera that claims the quarterback took HGH in 2011 to recover from an injury, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t have anyone in his corner.

A report from Al-Jazeera links him to a doping ring which he calls “garbage” and said it is “totally made up”.
“I am recanting any such statement, and there is no truth to any statement of mine that Al Jazeera plans to air”, he said.
Sly told Mortensen that he isn’t a pharmacist and wasn’t at the Guyer Institute in 2011, as Al Jazeera claimed.
The documentary titled “The Dark Side” states that Sly mailed performance enhancers, including HGH, to Peyton’s wife Ashley Manning, in order to keep the future Hall-of-Fame quarterback’s name out of the operation.
Manning responded Saturday night, telling reporters the allegations are “complete garbage”.
“Disgusted is really how I feel, sickened by it”, Manning said.
A soon-to-be-released Al-Jazeera report, which was given to the Huffington Post for early review, claims an Indianapolis anti-aging clinic supplied Manning with HGH while he was with the Indianapolis Colts.
Both the Broncos and Indianapolis Colts organizations have released statements defending Manning. “My wife has never provided any medication for me to take”. He will not play in the Broncos’ game on Monday night against the Cincinnati Bengals, but the team has declined to address his status beyond this week.
Manning was on ESPN on Sunday and he denied the allegations. The drug was banned by the National Football League as part of the 2011 collective bargaining agreement.
In the interview with ESPN, Manning said his wife’s medical needs and prescriptions were her own private business. I would emphasize that Mr. Sly was never an employee of the Guyer Institute and his brief three-month internship occurred in 2013 during which time Peyton was not even being treated or present in the office.
Asked if he had ever used HGH, Manning said “absolutely not” but he acknowledged he visited the Guyer Clinic to use a hyperbaric chamber and receive various other treatments that he said were not banned.
“I don’t understand that, continued Manning”. Ashley and I never attended the clinic together after hours.
Charlie Sly, the pharmacist whom the network secretly recorded making the explosive allegations about Manning and others, has recanted his own words. “Truthfully I don’t put much into anything”.

“I don’t believe it because Peyton is like a really good guy, but I wouldn’t be surprised either”, said Misha King.
