Manning HGH claims ‘utterly ridiculous’ – Colts
The Al Jazeera report alleges that the Denver Broncos quarterback received shipments of human-growth hormone [HGH] mailed to his wife, Ashley Manning.

Sly, who has since recanted his statement, told Al Jazeera that Manning would receive the drugs from an anti-aging clinic in Indianapolis called Guyer Institute, where Sly was an employee.
When asked if he had ever used HGH or any performance-enhancing drug, Manning told ESPN in an on-camera interview on Sunday, “Absolutely not”.
Sly made his original claims to British hurdler Liam Collins as part of the Al Jazeera investigation. Davies says Al Jazeera contacted Sly in early December to put all the allegations to him “and we didn’t hear anything from him until 48 hours ago”, Davies said.
The information in the Al Jazeera documentary – which included claims that Manning used human growth hormone and that Zimmerman was one of several athletes who used a hormone supplement known as Delta-2 – was new to the leagues this weekend, officials said.
Manning has already responded to the claims made in the documentary titled, “The Dark Side: Secrets of the Sports Dopers”.
Dale Guyer of the Guyer Institute said in a statement that Sly had a “brief three-month internship” there in 2013, “during which time Peyton was not even being treated or present in the office”, Guyer said.
Manning, who joined the Broncos in 2012, has been sidelined since November 15 by a left foot injury. “Disgusted is really how I feel, sickened by it”.
“Our organisation is confident Peyton does things the right way, and we do not find this story to be credible”. Nobody has tested positive, which would trigger a four-game suspension.
Brady, whose personal workout guru has allegedly made specious medical claims, per the Federal Trade Commission (via Boston Magazine’s Chris Sweeney), said he likely would not reach out to Manning to offer advice.
The other athletes Sly names in the documentary include baseball’s Ryan Zimmerman of the Washington Nationals and Ryan Howard of the Philadelphia Phillies; both have denied the allegations. In fact, I can say with absolute certainty they are not.

“As it relates to the particular allegations by Al-Jazeera, WADA expects that they will be carefully investigated by the relevant authorities and that, if warranted, necessary and appropriate steps would be taken”, said Howman. I went to the Guyer clinic to the hyperbaric chamber that our coaches, trainers and doctors thought might be good for me.
