DOWN TO THE MAT Manny Pacquiao walks to a neutral corner after sending Timothy Bradley Jr.to the mat in the 10th round of their WBO International Welterweight title bout at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The 37-year-old floored Bradley twice in their epic welterweight fight, eventually coning out a comfortable victor by unanimous decision.
Pacquiao bounced back from a controversial split-decision loss to Bradley in 2012 to win their first subsequent rematch two years later.
One of the world’s greatest praise and worship leaders, Don Moen, has congratulated his boxer “friend” Manny Pacquiao for his Saturday night win over America’s Timothy Bradley.
“Bradley is a good boxer, a great fighter and a good man. It was not easy”.
By beating Bradley, Pacquiao improved his professional boxing record to 58-6-2 (38 knockouts). “It’s for the honor of or country”, Pacquiao said.”Manny was on point, he was strong but I will be back”. Pacquiao picked it up in the fourth round, going from full-on boxing to more of a punching match. I already made a commitment to my family so I made my decision already.
While boxing history is littered with fighters who have fought on for too long – with often calamitous results – Roach wondered whether Pacquiao in fact would be haunted by regret if he left too soon.
According to a report at ESPN.com, Floyd Mayweather watched last Saturday’s third fight between Manny Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley, and has decided that there’s not enough controversy – there is none – and that maybe he should be the one to stir that particular drink. When I see Manny aggressive like that – that’s the best Manny Pacquiao.
“I don’t even remember it, man”, he said, adding that in the first knockdown, he felt that Pacquiao had pulled him down a bit.
Bradley hired Teddy Atlas past year to try to turn his career around after he had struggled in several fights, but it didn’t seem to make a noticeable difference in this fight.
Still, Pacquiao gave credit Bradley for his gallant stand, praising him for his toughness.
“I don’t know. Pacquiao is retired now”. Pacquiao took the fight 116-110 on all three cards, leading some (like Bob Arum) to believe the retirement is only a temporary thing.

Along with the knockdowns, the “Pacman” of old also showed up at the MGM Grand, as the Filipino boxing icon displayed speed, power, and efficient counterpunching.
