However, there is growing speculation that Jurgen Klopp shares Bilic’s admiration for the 22-year-old, and is keen to taken advantage of the fact the player is now borrowed rather than outright bought.
Five goals in 14 games, largely from attacking midfield positions, including one in a famous win against the Reds at Anfield have reportedly prompted Liverpool to keep an eye on him.
Lanzini is quoted as saying by the Independent: “I heard the president say that the club wants me to stay”.
Hammers chairman David Gold claimed the club has an unbreakable agreement to sign Lanzini permanently at the end of the current campaign.
“I know there have been some reports in the media over the weekend surrounding the future of Manuel Lanzini”, said Sullivan. I am fine here, ‘ Lanzini told EPSN FC.
“It’s an absolute honour that a team like Liverpool has put an eye on me”. “It’s a good team to play against”, said the Argentinian playmaker prior to the 4-1 drubbing at the hands of the North London side on Sunday.
However, Lanzini has denied he is interested in a move to Anfield.
