Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany faces an additional three to four weeks on the sideline, manager Manuel Pellegrini has confirmed.

Kompany made a return from a calf injury in the 4-1 win over Sunderland but only lasted nine minutes before suffering a recurrence of the problem that has kept him out for much of the season.
“We’ll just see how far we can go, we’re taking it one game at a time and trying to pick up as many points as we can”.
“I’m happy because we came here to try and win the game and we went for the three points”, he said in his post-match news conference.
“It’s not the same injury, the same calf but in a different part”. “I do not think it will be less than three-four weeks”.
Ultimately neither side could find a way through, despite having shared 74 top-flight goals between them this season, and Pellegrini’s charges remain without a win on the road in the Premier League since September.
Leicester earned promotion to the English top flight in the 2014-15 season after they won the Football League Championship the previous season under the guidance of Nigel Pearson. We are in a position which I am sure not a lot of our players are used to. “I can only say well done to our players and our fans are unbelievable, they support us and they push us”.
“We’re not where we should be right now in the table, but we’re right in the mix without really playing that well”.
Manchester City’s Joe Hart with Leicester City’s Jamie Vardy at the end of the game at King Power Stadium on Tuesday, December 29, 2015. While, the home team cost just £21m to put together, the Sky Blues squad cost a massive £292.9m to assemble.
“For me, it is important to think about Bournemouth and what we can do for the next month”.
“We had more attempts than Leicester and [tried] to win the game, but if you can’t win, then it’s important not to lose”.
With their title credential under the microscope after defeat at Liverpool on Boxing Day, Leicester responded with a typically hard-working performance and were a match for City.

Chelsea and Manchester City are thought to be looking closely at Vardy, while reports have claimed that both Spurs and Manchester United have tabled bids of close to £30m for Mahrez. I’d love this to continue but it’s not easy.
