Manuel Pellegrini confirms Sergio Aguero is fit to face Liverpool
The Anfield faithful have made it clear which players they would like to see go, however at the end of the day, the decision lies with the manager.

With the 26-year-old back in full training proclaiming his fitness, he is expected to play a few part in Saturday’s trip to Manchester, where Liverpool face Premier League leaders City.
Unlike Aguero, playmaker David Silva is definitely out for Man City, who are also unable to call upon Wilfried Bony, Samir Nasri and captain Vincent Kompany.
Liverpool face a tough game against Manchester City this weekend, and although the Reds are suffering from an ongoing injury crisis, City (thankfully) have problems of their own.
Manchester City possible starting lineup: Hart, Sagna, Mangala, Otamendi, Kolarov, Fernando, Fernandinho, De Bruyne, Toure, Sterling, Aguero.
But Klopp also admitted that “sometimes five minutes are enough” for a striker recovering from a lengthy injury, which he has to decide – saying he will “start thinking about it” immediately after his press conference.
Midfielders Jordan Henderson (broken foot) and Jordan Rossiter (hamstring) are set to resume training with the squad next week. Despite Benteke doing decently since his arrival, Sturridge remains the best striking option for the Reds and it isn’t surprising to hear Klopp wanting to start the 26-year-old. He has an able replacement in the form of Dejan Lovren to pair-up with Skrtel, although the Croat has not been in the best of form lately.
“I’m looking forward to being there and being involved”.
Klopp confesses he could not imagine committing a sum such as the one that took Sterling away from Liverpool. That could change by the time they kick off against Liverpool on Saturday as a win or draw for Arsenal would briefly move them to first place.
If I have to stick my neck out, I will have to say yes.
“He has added a new dimension, a lot of speed, a lot of quality”.
Liverpool, who are now 10th in the Premier League table with 17 points from 12 games, lost their first game under the guidance of Klopp before the worldwide break, a 2-1 defeat against Crystal Palace.
We aren’t being cheeky here, as Klopp beat and drew City with Borussia Dortmund during the 2012-13 UEFA Champions League.
The Reds head to the Etihad Stadium on Saturday evening where they have not won in the league in seven years. Sergio Aguero, being a world class striker, has all the skills and attributes to make life hard for the Croatian global.
With Liverpool missing Mamadou Sakho in defence, it’s a good time for Aguero to expose the suspect defence.

Lovren will find it hard to keep the Argentine quiet for 90 minutes, and it will be a massive job for him to keep up with his pace and dribbling skills. “We’re playing better but we aren’t having any luck”. We don’t think about Manchester City. Coutinho has scored thrice against Manchester City since joining Liverpool from Inter, and it is a fixture he likes to dominate.
