Many Moto 360 owners now receiving Android Wear 1.3 update

There are some differences between the two new models, but the new big and small versions have leak in new photos. Motorola has announced that their Moto 360 has also begun receiving the update, a fact confirmed by former Ausdroider Lucas this morning, and has added a little more info on what you’ll see in the update on their support site.

If the image is legitimate then it not only gives us an excellent look at the upcoming wearable, but also shows us how the next generation Moto 360 will differ from the one that came before.

According to the official documents revealed, these two versions will be launching in different sizes and different battery limit. It still looks good (for the most part), but until we hear some compelling reasons as to why this new watch is a major upgrade over last year’s, it’s hard not to keep an eye or three on what Huawei and Samsung are up to with their watches.

Perhaps it’s time to make sure your significant other has an Android Wear watch as well, those Moto 360 gen 1 models are starting to go pretty cheap. Users will get a notification when they receive the software update. In the image above you can see it side-by-side with the current model.

Motorola confirms that the latest update will be rolling out to Moto 360 users in phases in the coming few days. Other additions include a new weather app, Google Translate for Android Wear, a feature which only shows notification information if the watch is angled in a way that only you could see it, and a number of bug fixes and performance improvements.
