Iowa State point guard Monte Morris and forward Georges Niang have earned spots on a pair of pre-season award watch lists.

Now that we are into full preseason mode that means there are preseason teams and award watch lists to ponder.

Wisconsin has had two Bob Cousy Award finalists in its history. Lee will be playing at Louisville this season after transferring from Drexel.

He comes into 2015-16 just nine 3-pointers shy of breaking the program’s all-time record, is seventh with 104 steals in just three seasons and ranks 16 in career points with 1,165.

Last season, Johnson averaged 12.4 points-per-game while shooting. Rathan-Mayes’ 30 points against Clemson in the ACC Tournament marks the most points by a Seminole in an ACC Tournament game and was the first time a Florida State player scored 30 points or more in an ACC Tournament game. Selden has started all 71 games played at Kansas and averaged 9.4 points last season. He led the Jayhawks with 46 field goals made from 3-point range and was second in assists with 95.

The watch lists will be narrowed to 10 candidates in mid-February and five finalists in March, then presented to Cousy, Erving, Malone and their respective selection committees.
