Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has warned that the Anfield atmosphere can make life “much more hard for Villarreal than they imagine in this moment” in Thursday’s Europa League semifinal second leg.

LIVERPOOL, ENGLAND – APRIL 14: Liverpool fans cheer on their team during the UEFA Europa League quarter final, second leg match between Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund at Anfield on April 14, 2016 in Liverpool, United Kingdom.

Liverpool’s 12-game unbeaten run in the Europa League came to an end at Estadio El Madrigal and now the Yellow Submarine are without defeat in their last 12 European outings.

“You want to have you manager’s trust in you playing big games”. I don’t know how far we are on our way. Yes, it could be a game for him 100 per cent, but I have made no decision until now for the line-up.

Jurgen Klopp says Daniel Sturridge will “absolutely be involved” against Villarreal, but has not decided whether the striker will start at Anfield.

Klopp also called on his side to be proactive as they try to reverse a 1-0 deficit.

“Liverpool as a club have an extraordinary squad of footballers when you consider Benteke cost the whole turnover as Villarreal as a club”, said Marcelino.

“It’s very hard for us looking in and knowing what goes on the training but that may be what is determining how and why he’s not started big games”.

Klopp has warned fans not to expect a repeat performance but supporters will again set the stage by lining the streets armed with flags and flares to welcome the team coach as it makes its way down Anfield Road.

“I think the only real chance was at 2-1, we were in the game, we had a better situation than in the first-half”.

“It will be a hard game, Villarreal is a really compact team, with good individual players-a really counter-attacking team”.
