Despite, just a day ago, saying that he would put up a fight to slow down passage of the Omnibus in the Senate, Marco Rubio was a no-show for the vote on it. Rubio and Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, both have to deal with the political impact of contradictory things…
The five-day rolling average sample size ranged from 679 to 813 respondents between December 11 and December 18, with a credibility interval of about 4 percentage points. It is based on online interviews of 1,007 adults… Richard Burr, the chairman of the Intelligence Committee, who took to Twitter to share her views, reports The Hill.
The relationship between the USA and Russian Federation has been complicated in recent years by events like Russia’s annexation of Crimea in Ukraine and Putin’s support of the Assad regime in Syria.
Since Tuesday night’s debate, Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio have been in a pitched battle over immigration reform, specifically the part where the 12 million undocumented immigrants who are living here now get to pay taxes, and whether they get representation along with that taxation.
Paul also expressed excitement that, after Christmas, the Senate will vote on “audit the Fed” legislation, something announced Friday that has always been a priority of Paul supporters. “It’s not an attack”.
“He supports legalizing people that are here illegally”, Rubio said.
Cruz said that the amendment he offered in 2013 was a “poison pill” meant to expose those behind the “Gang of Eight” bill who, he said, were angling for amnesty above all other forms of immigration reform.
“Securing our borders and stopping illegal immigration is a matter of national security”.
In Iowa and elsewhere, Rubio’s support for legalization still lingers in the minds of many conservatives.
Rubio said earlier on Friday that the spending bill showed “what a broken Washington looks like under President (Barack) Obama”.
Often playing defense on immigration, the Florida senator shifted to offense this week by going after Cruz’s evolving rhetoric. It provides for them getting a temporary visa initially, and ultimately being able to get a green card, as a legal permanent resident.
Meanwhile, 30.8 said Bush lost the debate.
“Let’s have a moment of simple clarity: I oppose amnesty, I oppose citizenship, I oppose legalization for illegal immigrants”.
Critics allege Rubio has missed an inordinate number of votes while on the campaign trail, but the Florida lawmaker said he is running for president to make votes in Congress count again.
Cruz would have denied citizenship to anyone here illegally, but he explicitly supported a path to legal residence.
“And we should direct at the problem, focus on the problem, and defeat radical Islamic terrorism”.

Cruz is also now leading Hispanic Republicans in the state at 22.1 percent.
