Marco Rubio Faces Patrick Murphy for US Senate in November

Then, as GOP senators in Washington began to fret about their general election chances, the pressure mounted on Rubio to reverse course and make a late entry into the race. Like Ward, Beruff has embraced Trump and has accused Rubio of “tap dancing” around the presidential nominee and only offering him lukewarm support.

After a primary marked by no debates among either the Democratic or Republican field, GOP U.S. Senate nominee Marco Rubio challenged Democratic opponent Patrick Murphy to take the debate stage six times between now and November.
