Marco Rubio: GOP Shouldn’t Do Hillary Clinton’s Bidding For Her
“This is the process”. I do believe that Jeb has been convinced by people around him that he needs to attack me in order to be more successful. “You don’t know this PowerPoint?”. I got to be governor of a state and accomplish big things.

In one reported closed-door strategy briefing in Houston with Bush donors, campaign officials presented a 45-slide presentation outlining where Bush stood in the race. Bush could possibly exploit this detail to draw support from the GOP’s base away from Rubio, but appealing to the base’s prevailing anti-LGBT sentiment would smack of desperation, not to mention that this tactic would mainly resonate with voters who are already firmly in Mike Huckabee’s corner.
Rubio, Bush, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and several other Republican candidates had eagerly sought Singer’s support, the Times said. And he said that the bitterness between the two candidates highlights both campaigns’ weaknesses.
Rubio also said he would not attack Bush and praised his leadership of the Sunshine State – while making the case for himself as the best candidate. But you know, resources alone are not enough. Fiorina, the only woman among the GOP contenders, said she’s best positioned to make that argument in a general election.
After a while, even the most insensitive politician has to wonder, like Jeb Bush, whether all the hassle is worth it. John Boehner, after almost five years as House speaker, decided that the time had come to leave his Republican House Boehnheads behind and stop and smell the rose.
“In this era of gridlock, it’s really hard to break through, and I think he’s given up”. And to your point, I mean, maybe his strength is to say, look, I can fix things and do stuff. “That’s not what this is about”.
The reason Jeb Bush isn’t a former two-term president is that he made lots of mistakes in 1994. He said that his speech in Tampa will be about how Republicans need to be hopeful and optimistic and have an aspirational message, which doesn’t seem like something he hasn’t been saying on the stump for sometime.
The Former Florida Governor insisted that his focus has always and will continue to be about the people.
Rubio, who has had a leaner operation, has 30 people working across the first four nominating states – Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina and Nevada. There is a good field in there, there are candidates on that stage who will get a longer look. “This is another example”, Rubio said, “of the double standard that exists in this country between the mainstream media and the conservative movement”.

Part of Bush’s struggle rests in the hands of a changed electorate more attracted to outside candidates like front runners Trump and Ben Carson than Bush’s lane in the party establishment.
