Marco Rubio: ‘I’m not running for governor of Florida’
One was the importance of Senator Marco Rubio and Governor John Kasich winning in their home states of Florida and OH, respectively, as they hoped to impede Donald Trump’s path to the Republican nomination.

“There’s going to be a tremendous problem” if the Republican establishment tries to outmanoeuvre him at the convention, Trump said. Ted Cruz of Texas as the once-unwieldy nominating contest narrowed to a three-person brawl with Ohio Gov. John Kasich, who won his home state’s primary.
But, he said in a subsequent interview on MSNBC: “We don’t want to lose the edge”.
Donald Trump predicted “riots” if Republican power-brokers deny him the presidential nomination in Cleveland even if he’s leading in the delegate count. “They can’t come into OH with the philosophy they have and win”.
With 100 percent of precincts reporting, both primaries in Missouri were too close to call early Wednesday morning and if absentee ballots don’t make things clearer, second-place candidates Sens. The win in Florida for Trump sent rival Marco Rubio, the USA senator from the Sunshine State, crashing out of the campaign.
Republican presidential candidate, Sen. Affable and seemingly relaxed on the campaign trail, he has largely refrained from attacking his opponents, projecting a relentlessly positive image that set him apart from his combative rivals.
“We are confident that for the first time in our nation’s history, the Democratic Party will nominate a woman as their presidential nominee”, Robby Mook wrote in a memo to supporters. Clinton leads 1094 to 774 in the race to the 2383 delegates needed to clinch the party nomination, but she has backing of a large number of “super-delegates” in a system that has earned the moniker “UnDemocratic Party” for her organization. He steamrolled through Florida, North Carolina, and IL, according to the Associated Press.
“The bottom line after tonight: it looks like Trump will not have a majority of delegates in July”, said Paul Beck, a professor of political science at Ohio State University. “You know why? Because nobody else is going to do this”, Kasich said, according to 6ABC.

“We respect the right of the people who do support Trump to have their opinion”. Cruz is in better position than Kasich, but he also faces a daunting mathematical challenge after losing four of five contests Tuesday. On the Democratic side, Hillary Clinton staunched the loss of MI last week to Bernie Sanders to win OH and regain her momentum in the Rust Belt. Sanders has at least 800. Mr Cruz has 396 and Mr Kasich has 138, a far distance away from the halfway mark. But it’s not plausible that he’ll be able to get enough delegates to win the nomination outright. Rubio left the race with 169.
