“If Marco Rubio’s good, how come we’re doing so badly?” Rubio wouldn’t specifically credit Trump, but said he was happy more people are watching.

Democratic front-runner Hillary Rodham Clinton has proposed paid family leave, noting that the U.S.is among the world’s only advanced countries not to offer the benefit. Rubio says that abortion should be completely illegal, without exceptions for rape and incest. “He’s still eight times higher in the polls than Marco Rubio”.

Trump and Rubio have been trading barbs this week, with Trump attacking Rubio’s Senate attendance record and alleged support for “amnesty”. “If you believe in something, you have to be true to yourself”.

But both Floridians still have a long way to go in order to catch up to current frontrunner Donald Trump.

Trump has ramped up his criticism of Rubio recently, although his aides deny that the candidate feels threatened. Rubio responded in an afternoon radio appearance in which he called Trump “touchy and insecure,” among other things. If Republicans take those three states, they win the White House.

“He doesn’t want to pick a fight, but if you pick a fight with him, you’re going to lose”, Cohen said of his boss.

“I think he’s a baby”, Trump declared.

This race has defied every prediction, but if you are a betting person, Rubio might be the odds-on favorite at this stage.

The Florida Republican said Friday his newest proposal is “only a step” toward reclaiming the American Dream. “And I have better hair than he does, right?”

In 2013, Rubio co-authored and ushered through the Senate an immigration bill-praised by La Raza, President Obama and the Chamber of Commerce- that would have admitted 33 million new immigrants in the course of a single decade.

Those here a decade or more would have to undergo a strict background check, pay a fine, start paying taxes and learn English to earn permanent legal status, the Republican said in May. Above, Sen. Rubio also seemed to get a nice ovation when he walked out for his own speech at the VVS this morning, which is no surprise.
