Marco Rubio urges for John Kasich vote in Ohio
Most important are the winner-take-all contests in the home states of Rubio (Florida) and Kasich (Ohio). Marco Rubio, who ditched the potty mouth and morphed back to being the aspirational man-with-a-dream, scored some points but probably not enough to save Rubio’s sinking campaign or to put Cruz on equal footing with Trump.

“I would say this, we’re all in this together”. The poll predicts 18 percent of Florida Republican voters will go to Cruz.
Trump also recalled that he once served as the grand marshal of the Israeli Day Parade, explaining that Israel’s security would be his top priority but that he did intend to make an attempt at negotiating a deal between the two sides of the conflict. “If you are a Republican primary voter in OH and you want to defeat Donald Trump, your best chance in OH is John Kasich, because John Kasich is the sitting governor, he’s very close to Donald Trump in some of the polls there”.
He said he hadn’t consulted with Kasich, Ohio’s governor, about the gambit, nor has he spoken to Texas Senator Ted Cruz about forming a so-called unity ticket aimed at stopping Trump. Trump walks through the minefield of his own jaw-dropping comments and controversies without as much as a scratch, while those who suffer mortal wounds tend to be the rivals who try to take him down.
The four remaining Republican candidates avoided the personal insults that have dominated recent debates, arguing on policy at the party’s 12th debate that allowed struggling Florida senator Marco Rubio to excel in his home state. We’re going to come up with solutions. “We’re going to come up with solutions, we’re going to find the answers to things, and so far I can’t believe how civil it has been up here”, Trump said.
In turn, Florida Sen.
When it comes to making a real run for the Republican presidential nomination, Texas U.S. Sen. The Florida senator knows that if he can’t win in the Sunshine State, his campaign will go dark – fast. “If we make the right choice in this election, our children are going to be the freest and most prosperous Americans that have ever lived”.
Asked about violence at his rallies , Trump said he did not condone it, but his supporters “have anger that’s unbelievable” .
“If you don’t tax certain products coming into this country from certain countries that are taking advantage of the United States and laughing at our stupidity, we’re going to continue to lose businesses and we’re going to continue to lose jobs”, Trump said.
But there were just as many moments where the candidates let Trump slide, including on his acknowledgement that he’s exploited immigration laws to bring skilled overseas workers to the U.S.to work for his companies and on his call for sending up to 30,000 USA ground troops to the Middle East to fight the Islamic State.
In all, 367 Republican delegates will be at stake, with voting also occurring in Illinois, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio and the Northern Mariana Islands.
“This is stuff from, like, ‘House of Cards, ‘ he said”.
In the race for Republican delegates, Mr Trump has 459, Mr Cruz 360, Mr Rubio 152 and Mr Kasich 54. Although the “Washington establishment” would like a brokered Republican convention, Cruz is confident he can win the 1,237 delegates to secure the nomination.
Trump, though, clearly was intent on projecting a less bombastic – and more presidential – image.
