Marco Rubio Warns America As He Bows Out Of Presidential Race
Donald Trump warned on Wednesday of riots if he is denied the Republican presidential nomination, after adding to his growing pile of primary wins but losing in the key state of Ohio.

Rubio dropped out of the presidential race Tuesday night after conceding the Florida primary to Trump. Trump cited a hypothetical scenario where he’d go to the Cleveland convention in July with roughly 1,000 delegates and a rival would show up there with 500. “I don’t believe Trump will ever be able to do that”. Clinton said in her victory speech to supporters in West Palm Beach, Florida, her voice noticeably hoarse.
Republican contenders, Trump and Cruz are also facing an incredibly close race with 40.8 to 40.6, respectfully. He will pick up some delegates, but Clinton will take home the lion’s share.
Rubio – the great hope of the Republican Party establishment with an eye toward stopping Trump, whom they reject for his xenophobic, populist and violent rhetoric – said that he was “proud” of the campaign he had run, but he admitted that he had not gone far enough.
But Kasich told TODAY that after more voters listen to his philosophy and start thinking about which Republican has the best chance to defeat the eventual Democratic nominee, “I’m going to be the nominee”. Ted Cruz trailed close to hang on to third place, while Ohio Governor John Kasich barely hit double digits.
In any event, the Republicans now have only a three-candidate race: Florida Sen. Marco Rubio for the state’s 99 delegates.
MSNBC projected Mr Trump and Mrs Clinton would win Missouri in very tight races. “And for everyone who wants to see a brighter tomorrow, we welcome you”.
If Trump is just 20 or 100 delegates short of securing the nomination, it would be perfectly within the rules for Cruz or another candidate to challenge him for the nomination at the convention.
Clinton’s victories in OH and Florida were a blow to rival Bernie Sanders and bolstered her argument that she’s the best Democratic candidate to take on the eventual Republican nominee in the general election.
Hillary Clinton triumphed Tuesday in the Florida, Illinois, Ohio and North Carolina presidential primaries, putting her in a commanding position to become the first woman in US history to win a major party nomination. After that, anyone – even someone who hasn’t been running – can win the party’s nomination.

US Senator Ted Cruz of Texas, who has sought to fashion himself the lead anti-Trump alternative, was outclassed by Trump everywhere on Tuesday except Missouri, where he trailed Trump narrowly with almost all votes counted.
