Margot Robbie tattooed BFF Cara Delevingne

Vanity Fair – “Somewhere about halfway through ‘Suicide Squad, ‘ so far the nadir of Warner Bros. and D.C.’s increasingly bungled attempt to build an enduring Avengers-style superhero franchise, the movie’s ostensible villain does some mumbo jumbo and a great light goes shooting up into the sky over a city, swirling around in a death circle, just like we’ve seen in so very many movies in the last nearly decade”.

At the premiere of the film at New York City’s Beacon Theatre on Monday (1Aug16), the filmmaker echoed an overenthusiastic fan who shouted, “F**k Marvel”. Someone said it. I echoed.

However, the Fury director quickly took to Twitter apologised for it, said he got carried away and said he only had respect for all his brother filmmakers.

The 26-year-old actress showed up on the set of “Suicide Squad” with a tattoo gun and offered to ink her co-stars, including Will, 47, and Cara Delevingne, 23, but he was not impressed.

And David hopes that the film proves popular as he believes it’s a new take on the well worn superhero genre. It was the most fun I think I’ve ever had.

Characters include Deadshot (Smith), the world’s deadliest and most accurate marksman, Joker (Jared Leto), Batman’s arch nemesis, Harley Quinn (Robbie), the Joker’s psychotic sidekick and lover, and Dr. Amanda Waller (Viola Davis), the head of the top secret group formed by the government to create a counterforce to the Justice League should they go rogue. I never want to sit through another conversation about whether superheroes are good or bad (or, in this case, whether super-villains are). It’s like the cowboy movie, which was Hollywood’s bread and butter for 70 years. “Someone said it. I echoed”. “It’s the diversity and inclusion that this country is supposed to be about”.

“I didn’t know about that … having been there on the day, they were very small – but wow, I wonder if they did?” she replied. His relatively brief screen time leaves you wanting more, and Leto and Robbie make a distinctly dynamic duo in their fleeting scenes together.

In case you hadn’t quite caught on to the fact that Margot Robbie’s style was one-of-a-kind, you won’t be able to miss the memo when it’s this giant, glitzy and golden – and galloping across her gown.

It’s not know whether we’ll have a covered or uncovered cheek situation in the actual movie – so there’s only one way to find out.
