Mariah Carey is about to be a married woman!
It will be the third wedding each for Packer and Carey, with the latter most recently Wednesday to America’s Got Talent host Nick Cannon, from whom she separated in 2014. They will have a combined 5 kids from their previous marriages, so it would be a huge surprise if they made a decision to have a baby together, but hey, anything is possible, right?
Carey’s hits include “Vision of Love”, “We Belong Together” and “Hero”.
The ring designer told Vogue, “I really wanted to create something for her that was about new beginnings”.
Both Packer and Carey were in Australia last month, where they celebrated the New Year at Packer’s casino in Melbourne. “If you spend five minutes with them, you can’t help but believe in true love”.
As for why they work so well. “They want to make each other happy”, the source added. James Packer has grown the family wealth to estimated $4.7 billion. In November 2015 TMZ reported that Carey had moved in with her beau in his over-the-top Beverly Hills home. I don’t even have the words for the man who introduced me tonight. Second wife Meares called it quits three years later, with the couple separating in 2002 and divorcing soon after; they blamed the breakdown on different thoughts about having children. Mariah Carey plans a world tour later in 2016. “He seemed a little more under the radar than she is but looked at her very adoringly and happy”.

This will be the third marriage for both, who first went public with their relationship last summer while vacationing in Italy.
