Mariah Carey: Idol was ‘abusive’
Kicking off her Sweet Sweet Fantasy tour in the United Kingdom, viewers will see Mariah move through Europe and Africa, all whilst planning her real-life wedding. Executive producer Matt Westmore insisted, “I don’t think anybody’s having a problem with the word Botched”, despite the fact that several reporters insisting that it was a problem.

So she was keen on showing what happens behind the scenes and what it really takes to conduct a tour through “Mariah’s World”.
The show, said Carey at T.C.A., was “the most abusive experience”.
With luck, she says, it will also help people get past the image of Mariah Carey, Diva – an image she was quite purposefully playing with throughout the late Wednesday press conference.
“They can have their own show because that’s how amusing they are”, she gushed via E! I think it should be sparingly used unfortunately, but they should have their own show.
Coming in December on E!, the eight part series will see the 46-year-old diva request kittens and a tiger at her hotel. Then she called out a hairdresser and makeup artist to give her a “touch-up”. “I don’t watch them”.
Does she throw shade slang for trash talking and if so why?
She says: “I’m wearing these glasses because we’re in florescent lighting and I have a rule which states that I will not be seen in florescent lighting without sunglasses – I know it’s very 90s”. During that year, Carey frequently butted heads with her co-judge Nicki Minaj, who once made headlines by shouting, during an audition round, “I told them, I’m not f–ing putting up with her f–ing highness over there”.
“I’m never really sure who to trust”, she said.
According to Carey, her kids have both inherited some form of their mothers musical genes. But she stressed that, above all, she’s just trying to be a nice person.
“I try to have them do as many activities as they can that aren’t just, like, the iPad”, she said of her twins, explaining that she takes them along on her travels. “And they have a consistent schedule of things like karate and gymnastics”.

“Yesterday, my son, Rocky, was, like, being the DJ, and I was like, ‘OK, I’m going to teach you the value of working”. “Mariah’s World” also allows the fans to get a peek into her private moments which she enjoys as a mother.
