Promoting her upcoming E! television series Mariah’s World, Carey entertained the Television Critics Association Wednesday with a promotional session in which she reclined on a purple velvet couch in black lingerie, sipped champagne and called everybody “Darling”. She then crossed the stage to sit on a gold-trimmed chaise.

Unfortunately we’re going to have to wait until December 4 to see Mimi’s life unfold on her eight part reality show Mariah’s World on E!, but if the wonderful luxury and drama that appears in the teaser is a constant part of her daily life, we can not wait to see it all!

“I think we’re still drawing lines”, Carey said with regard to what her limits are with filming.

But when it comes to her own show, Carey is working with producers to ensure the eight-part docu-series is as authentic as possible. “If I was an agent and discovered them, I’d be like, ‘These kids need to be on TV'”. “I don’t even know what reality is”. “Like, literally in terms of the real world”. “I was a little less free with my personality. But I try to be a nice person”.

Carey said her children, daughter Monroe and son Moroccan, would appear in the series but she would discuss with the children’s father, Nick Cannon, to what degree. Mariah Carey is no rookie to show business, she knows that there’s no such thing as bad publicity, and getting everyone talking about her and Mina again will be the ideal publicity for “Mariah’s World”. It’s just going to show what her life is like as she tours.

What about Nick? Will he be on the program?

“I have to mutually figure it out with Nick”, she said, noting that the America’s Got Talent host has been cooperative with the appearance of the cameras thus far.

OMG, Mariah Carey’s fantastic and over the top lifestyle can be so overwhelming it sometimes brings her to fits of tears!

“Oh, it was the most abusive experience”.

Not wanting to give viewers the wrong impression, a voiceover from Mariah says: “I am not Cinderella!”

And pressed on what she’d learned on the show, she simply lifted her glass of champagne and said: ‘By the way you’ve just driven me to drink’.

The video above is not a trailer for Mariah Carey’s new reality series-the Grammy-winning diva would never deign to film such a thing.

Carey, who is engaged to James Packer and who is terrible according to Demi Lovato, will anchor this eight-part special “event”, as it’s billed in the following preview.

After stating that there are “a few”, the famous diva said: ‘They would be. lovely ladies, and it’s not their day’.
