To get us in the Mariah-fabulous mood for Carey’s upcoming E! show, “Mariah’s World,” the TV critics and journalists here at the Beverly Hilton hotel were treated to glasses of bubbly, followed by the spectacle of shirtless men ushering in Carey. “Is this a normal outfit for people to wear?” she asks in the trailer, posted up on a plush chaise lounge in a leotard and stilettos.

Kicking off her Sweet Sweet Fantasy tour in the United Kingdom, viewers will see Mariah move through Europe and Africa, all whilst planning her real-life wedding. The show is called a docu-series because it is more like a documentary than a reality show.
