The Pittsburgh Penguins issued a response Wednesday on social media to the rumor of a rift between team owner Mario Lemieux and team captain Sidney Crosby. “That I don’t know”, Barnaby said on the satellite radio station. “And that was exactly where I was trying to put it”.

In comments released through the Penguins’ Twitter account, Lemieux dismissed the report by saying it’s silly. The current Penguins star lived with Lemieux early in his career.

Fabbri initially tied the game just 1:12 into the third.

“The more and more I looked into it, the more I found out, people with the same sentiment that there’s a big falling out between Mario and Crosby”, Barnaby said. “It was a good game and I was able to get lots of opportunities”.
