The 3DS role-playing game was originally announced at E3 for a 2016 release, but it will now release in Europe on December 4.

The game has improved the dual battle system to a three man affair, thanks to the addition of Paper Mario.
Mario & Luigi Paper Jam will hit Japan later this year, while global release in scheduled for 2016. The coolest thing about this game is that the fans would most likely be able to play the game in English this year which is undoubtedly a healthy sign.
Paper Jam (or Paper Jam Bros.as it’s called in European & Australian territories) sees the two popular Mario RPG franchises in Mario & Luigi and Paper Mario clash on the 3DS.

Paper Mario’s arrival opens new ways for Mario and Luigi to explore, solve puzzles and topple enemies, which will include new Trio Attacks and Paper Mario’s copy ability to duplicate himself to boost his attack power. The fusion RPG will release in Europe on 4 December, and Australia on 10 December. Nintendo of Europe couldn’t tell us whether the North American date had been moved forward too – we’ve reached out to Nintendo of America for more information.
