Mario Maker Adds Three Pokemon Costumes
In addition to a popular Super Bowl commercial, Nintendo is also distributing Mythical Pokemon, releasing a boatload of new merchandise, and re-releasing the original Pokemon games for 3DS’s Virtual Console.

A Pokemon-themed Super Mario Maker update is more than we low sinners deserve.
The “I Choose You!” event course is now available to play, which, upon completion, will allow players to unlock either a Bulbasaur, Charmander or Squirtle Mystery Mushroom depending on their choice.

These costumes can be seen in the trailer above and can be claimed by clearing the new Event Course in the game. Each costume features sound effects from the original Pokémon games on Game Boy, including each critter’s iconic screech, a first for Pokémon costumes in Super Mario Maker.
