On Wednesday night, French actress Marion Cotillard shared a post on Instagram addressing widespread rumors that she’d had an affair with Brad Pitt, thus triggering the actor’s recently announced separation from his wife, Angelina Jolie. She also revealed she’s again expecting with Canet while quashing the speculation.

The 52-year-old actor is apparently raging that the Tomb Raider star filed to end their two year marriage under grounds he is a bad parent to their six children Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Knox and Vivienne, eight, and he’s anxious she’s turned their world upside down, after a hoard of paparazzi gathered outside their Hollywood Hills home when news broke yesterday.

“But we should all respect their privacy during this very hard time”, she said. “This doesn’t sound like her at all”.
The film’s director, Robert Zemeckis, claimed earlier this year that chemistry between the two stars was “electric”.
She went on: “Brad and Angelina always said they wouldn’t get married until everyone could get married”.
Sources told ET, however, that these reports were simply “not true”. “An incident took place and prompted [Angelina] to act and file”.
An insider said: “The final divorce decision was only made one week ago. Her priority now is the children”.
They said: “Brad only found out about the divorce decision yesterday”.
The speed at which she started her split from Brad also came as a shock as they were only spotted out together in public three weeks ago as they shopped with son Knox.
“Maybe because he could have been spending the last 12 years at Lake Como hanging out with George Clooney and Matt Damon, instead of being stuck in a house with 85 kids speaking 15 different languages”.
The actress also requested sole physical custody of their six children, offering Pitt visitation rights and joint legal custody. The couple are parents to a 5-year-old son.

Following the shocking news that Jolie had filed for divorce, Page Six reported that a source said Jolie split from Pitt after she learned that he had an affair with Cotillard. Maddox, Zahara and Pax were adopted from orphanages in Cambodia, Ethiopia and Vietnam, respectively.
