Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk Will Appear in ‘Thor: Ragnarok’
Could this be the starting point for an eventual Planet Hulk movie? We look forward to finding out how the Hulk will be involved in Thor: Ragnarok’s story.

Variety has confirmed previous reports that Mark Ruffalo will return as Bruce Banner/Hulk in Thor: Ragnarok. (Cue those persistent, and persistently denied, Planet Hulk rumors.) Earlier this week, Birth. According to their sources, the duo will encounter a number of new characters including the Valkyries. There was a few speculation he could pop up in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, but director James Gunn has repeatedly shot down those rumors.
This will be the final film before Avengers: Infinity War Part 1, which means it should include quite a bit of the overall story as we head into the final two Avengers’ films.
It seems the plan is for Hulk to be seen fighting alongside Asgard’s finest son (Chris Hemsworth) as Thor faces down what is essentially the Asgardian apocalypse and more trouble from Tom Hiddleston’s Loki, now impersonating his step-father (and Thor’s dad) Odin. Thor: Ragnarok, then, could be a major storyline for him.
The script for “Thor: Ragnarok” was written by Christopher Yost and Craig Kyle.
Edward Norton starred in the last standalone “Hulk” film, but was replaced by Ruffalo before the first “Avengers” film began production.

Marvel Studios will release Thor: Ragnarok on November 3, 2017 in 3D/2D theaters and IMAX.
