He said that despite belonging to a Jewish family, he was taught to stand against attacks on any community in the world.

The post came after Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump last week called for “a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country’s representatives can figure out what is going on”.
In the wake of the anti-Muslim attack, Mr. Zuckerberg who recently became a father, wrote on his personal Facebook page that he wants to assure Muslims they are welcome on Facebook and that “we will fight to protect your rights and create a peaceful and safe environment for you”.
This comment is especially interesting as it comes after Feinstein accused Facebook of failing to alert authorities of a pledge of allegiance to ISIS made on the social network by one of the San Bernardino attackers.
He said: “I want to add my voice in support of Muslims in our community and around the world”. Mr. Zuckerberg wrote how hate can lead a person to “succumb to cynicism” and how the birth of his first child and daughter, Max, has given him hope.
In a post on the social networking site, Zuckerberg stated that “even if an attack isn’t against you today, in time attacks on freedom for anyone will hurt everyone”. The Facebook CEO is also a philanthropist, as he envisions a world with better technology and connection with the free Internet projects. “I’m all for freedom of speech, but it doesn’t mean encouraging terrorism”.

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has voiced his support to Muslims all over the word, saying that putting the blame for the violent acts of extremists should not be placed on their shoulders. While some criticized the post for being a bit overdue, many praised Mr. Zuckerberg’s input.
