Marked Out Review: WWE ‘Monday Night Raw’ – September 28th, 2015
Xavier Woods says that the WWE Tag Team Champions are here, and Big E hypes their match with The Dudley Boyz on Saturday at Madison Square Garden. As a result, John Cena (c) retains. Alas, Show merely came out in his sweats, stole Heyman’s thunder and left us all to ponder whether this might have worked better as John Cena’s fight. John Cena gets the win via DQ. The three men beat down Cena until the Dudleys rush out to even the odds.

John Cena takes on The New Day, which ends up being Cena vs. Xavier Woods. Xavier Woods breaks up a 3D attempt, which allows Kofi to hit Trouble in Paradise on D-Von Dudley for the pin. Charlotte says it’s about the fans believing in them. Leap over barricade by Reigns, crowd action, throwing the WWE stagehand, Wyatt going through the barrier and the finish of Wyatt posing on the table and taking a Reigns’ spear was awesome. Reigns said he was prepared to do this alone, but Ambrose said he had his back if it came to it. Randy Orton turned up and there was tension between him and Ambrose. The Viper then enters the room and he and Ambrose debate about outside help until Reigns stops them by pointing out that none of them can handle the Wyatts on his own.
Big Show vs. Mark Henry: I quite liked the honesty that came through in Show’s booking the past couple weeks.
To quote the signature opening of Bill Maher’s monologue, I know why you’re excited. Miz tries to cut them off, but Becky grabs his mic, looks at it for a moment, and then flings it toward the stage.
The reality is they’re scared to death to give the women more than one segment on this show, so they’re cramming everything into one segment and it’s a convoluted clustermuck that comes off much worse than it is. If that was the case I would have gotten the title when I came back years ago and still had the title. It would seem WWE is now pushing that the Divas Revolution is blowing up because there’s turmoil within it. Charlotte called out Paige, but instead got Team Bella. She says her victories in NXT are what truly sparked the revolution. Paige, Charlotte and Becky stand tall against Team Bella.
However, midway during the match, Paige appeared to be walking off which brought out Natalya, who got attacked from behind by the English Diva for her efforts. She says she feels bad for Charlotte, because by the time they have their rematch, she’ll be an emotional mess. As Paige made to leave, Natalya confronted her on the ramp and the two had a brief altercation.
A distracted Charlotte was on the receiving end of a Rack Attack by Nikki Bella for the win.
Rollins talks about Kane. Kane shows up with a large gift and notes that he was with Rollins as he climbed the ladder to the championship.
According to Ashley, Kane is “sound of mind” and “more than capable of fulfilling his duties as director of operations”.
Stardust vs. Neville is a no-contest as King Barrett interferes. She gets ready to read her evaluation, but is interrupted by Seth Rollins. The champ loses it and attacks Kane. After giving Kane an awkward looking pedigree, Rollins completely destroyed him with a steel chair.
That was superb when the ambulance went red and Demon Kane walked out and took out Rollins. The ambulance didn’t even make it out of the building, though, as Demon Kane emerged from the back. He limps a bit and then walks normally to the ring. Kane goes for the Tombstone piledriver, but Seth escapes, leaving his WWE Championship behind.
Roman Reigns and Bray Wyatt put on a compelling match by “RAW” main event standards, and both took a few risky bumps.
Randy Orton squashes Bo Dallas with an RKO. Ziggler would make the save and take out Rusev and make Owens head backstage.
Lesnar hasn’t had a match since he faced The Undertaker at SummerSlam, and he’ll face Big Show in Saturday’s main event.
Roman Reigns vs. Bray Wyatt goes to a double count out when their match, which is actually one-on-one with no outside interference, spills outside the ring and the two men decide to just rip each other apart. The two fought all over the arena, and the show went off the air after Reigns speared Wyatt through the announce table. Let me repeat that.

Bray Wyatt appeared on the big screen and spoke of his pride at Harper and Strowman defeating PTP earlier on Raw.
