Marlana VanHoose cheers Go Big Blue on Good Morning America
Marlana was born with Cytomegalovirus and by the time she was a few weeks old it was discovered that she was blind.

On Sunday, she was invited to sing during the opening night of the GOP convention. We think Marlana was the flawless choice to kick off the RNC, and her performance was just incredible! At the age of two, Marlana was diagnosed with mild cerebral palsy.
Marlana VanHoose is scheduled to sing the “Star-Spangled Banner” at 8:10 p.m. Monday, the Artists Music Guild confirmed.
VanHoose’s dynamic voice has won her invitations to some of the largest sporting events in the United States.
ESPN even highlighted her relationship with the University of Kentucky basketball program and the team’s success in games when she sang the anthem. Marlana VanHoose brought down the house at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland.

The convention in Cleveland runs from Monday through Thursday, at the end of which Donald Trump is expected to be named the party’s presidential nominee.
