Emma and James, of East London, are “still together and happy” three months after filming ended despite saying on their wedding day they didn’t fancy each other.

‘I made a decision after the honeymoon to end things.’. Ross and Rachel. Mickey and Minnie!

Jason went on to reveal the acrimonious end to their short-lived marriage: “We sat in the lounge but Kate wouldn’t let me talk”.

Jason, 34, was spotted on the dating site by one of his wife’s friends, who told the 31-year-old fitness instructor she had seen his picture.

She revealed: ‘A friend just sent me this and so I guess that’s it – the ring’s coming off.

“One of my good friends said: ‘Jason, are you back in the dating scene?’ I said it was a bit too soon but he suggested I should re-download Tinder“.

We’re not the only ones who were sad and disappointed that the pair’s relationship didn’t work out, as viewers shared their outrage of what had happened on Twitter, and #MarriedAtFirstSight was trending in the UK.

In the final of the show Kate Stewart discovered Jason was looking for love online despite being married to her.

After the five weeks is up for the couples they will get to choose whether to stay married or file for divorce.

Three couples were matched, but with one pulling out before the wedding, the other couple, who got hitched on the show, are still happily married!

Although Kate and Jason have called time on their marriage, it looks like fellow MAFS couple, Emma Rathbone and James Ord-Hume, are loving married life.
