MWC saw new VR devices on show and brought industry insight into the future of the tech market’s hottest new trend.

As Samsung revealed earlier this week, everyone who pre-ordered Galaxy S7 or Galaxy S7 Edge will also receive a free Gear VR headset along with a 6-game bundle which amounts to around $150 in value.
Samsung unveiled its latest Galaxy smartphones during the recently held Mobile World Congress 2016, and along the new S7 and GS7 edge, it also announced a new enterprise programme aimed at encouraging businesses to adopt the company’s latest mobile devices. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop.
According to Go Benn Lee, product manager, Mobile Phone, Samsung Malaysia Electronics Sdn Bhd, it is because Malaysians generally were more excited over and favoured the Galaxy S6 edge over its non-edge counterpart past year. The Galaxy S7 also gets a boost in RAM, bumping up to 4GB from the S6’s 3GB.

The display is also believed to be getting some much-needed upgrade in terms of resolution, something close to the 2K resolution found in the Galaxy S7 we believe.
The company has also made a decision to include an expandable memory slot on both the S7 and the S7 Edge, which can support cards up to 200 GB to augment the included 32 GB of internal storage.
And for most users it may end up being a draw – Samsung leads the pack among Android phones, while Apple has its own self-contained ecosystem, iOS.
Speaking of waterproof features, the Samsung Galaxy S7 is also IP68 compliance. They have 12 MP rear-facing cameras and a 5 MP front-facing cameras.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 features a 5.1-inch Quad HD super AMOLED display. So, for example, with a truly modular phone, you could maybe switch out your phone’s camera for a more powerful one if you’re headed to a graduation ceremony. If you’d rather pop in a second battery, the way we did on 2006’s flip phones, LG’s new G5 restores that option. “Two of the most useful are Samsung Internet 4.0, which offers better privacy and functionality from the native Samsung browser than ever, and Cross App, which lets people access their most useful apps while inside the messaging program”. This patch will only focus on security issues so don’t expect any new features or improvements. The Mi5 and the Mi5 Pro both have wonderful specs for price tags of $300 and $413 respectively- 3/4GB of RAM, Snapdragon 820 and 32/64/128GB of storage. The battery of this new device is a 3,000 mAh unit.
