MARTIN’S pulls trail mix, granola bars from shelves over Listeria fears
The company has received no reports of illness to date but is taking this action as part of its commitment to the health and safety of the people who eat its foods. Officials say that Listeria is a common organism found in nature, but that eating food contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes can cause listeriosis, an uncommon but potentially fatal disease.

Kashi announced it will recall two kinds of granola products, because they were made with sunflower seeds which could have listeria.
CLIF® Mojo® Mountain Mix® trail mix bars are recalled. You can see pictures of the recalled products at the FDA web site.
The Trail Mix bars were sold in 6 count boxes with best buy dates of January 4th through 9th of 2017 with UPC 18627 03000. The infection can cause short-term problems such as a high fever, abdominal pain and diarrhea, headaches, stiffness and nausea.
People who have purchased affected product should discard it and contact Kashi for a full refund.
