Marvel and ABC Discussing Several Possible TV Shows
As for the other most likely possibility, we’d have to go with Ms. Marvel, the teenage Pakistani American heroine who already has a sizable fandom from her relatively brief comic book history. Bobbi Morse (Adrianne Palicki) and Lance Hunter (Nick Blood) were even written out of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. to set the stage for their own show. It was a joint partnership between Marvel and ABC Studios. Dungey’s comments are clear and inoffensive, but it’s also unclear whether or not he means Agent Carter and Most Wanted simply didn’t represent what ABC wanted out of its access to the Marvel brand. Marvel Television developed a pilot for Marvel’s Most Wanted, a spinoff featuring two characters from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Because if a flagship project like S.H.I.E.L.D. isn’t a ratings hit (with the pedigree of Joss Whedon behind it, no less), it’s a hard nut to crack. She told the press, “There is a lot of enthusiasm figuring out what would be [the next Marvel show on ABC]”. At the TCA, Dungey revealed, “Since I’ve been in this role we’ve been in a number of really terrific conversations with the Marvel team”.

So yes, there’ll be more from Marvel and ABC in the future – it just won’t be Most Wanted. Since none of Marvel’s films have dealt with the Inhumans yet, television seems like the best bet to introduce one of the company’s most popular Inhuman characters. Asked if they might look to find a unified feel for Marvel series on ABC moving forward, Dungey replied, “That’s an interesting question and we have talked about that, yes”.
Following the events of “Avengers: Age of Ultron” Marvel had been reportedly in talks with ABC to develop a half-hour live-action comedy titled, “Damage Control”, Deadline reported.

We’re looking at a number of different things. “Some of them are projects that we’ve worked on before and others are totally new ideas and IP”. “We have a very close working relationship with Marvel and we had conversations with them up front about the fact that we were interested in casting Hayley in Conviction”, Dungey said. Maybe the next show will be a bit more… super? Castle faced some controversy previous year when stars Stana Katic and Tamala Jones were not renewed for a ninth season. If Ghost Rider resonates with the TV audience, don’t be too shocked if a Ghost Rider series is on the air next season. So, how do they plan on turning things around?
