None of us really knew what to expect from today’s Captain America: Civil War trailer, and while it was hoped that Spider-Man might appear, that final scene still came as an awesome surprise. Although the film is very much a Captain America sequel, Robert Downey Jr. still believes that the movie will expand on Tony Stark’s story and will not treat the Marvel superhero as a villain! Could it be that HYDRA or some other villainous organisation has managed to capture the former assassin by the time Captain America: Civil War begins?

Spidey is being played by 19-year-old Tom Holland, and no doubt Marvel is hoping that his appearance will drive the hype for the as-yet-unnamed reboot due next year. “That’s six minutes longer than ” Avengers: “Age Of Ultron ” and four minutes longer than ” The Avengers”, but perhaps that makes sense given that “Civil War” is essentially an Avengers movie, featuring nearly all the characters from the MCU. While Iron Man agrees with the new law, Steve decides to fight against the patriot act. These videos also beg the question of whether Spider-Man, who hasn’t been revealed in any of the film’s promos so far, will finally be shown in the trailer tomorrow.
