Warner Bros. Interactive is coming off the recent launch of Lego Dimensions which brings together 14 different franchises including DC Comics, The Lord of the Rings, Jurassic World and Back to the Future just to name a few.

Announced during the Iron Man & The Avengers panel at New York Comic Con, the incoming “Avengers Standoff” will run through issues of all the core Avengers family titles later this year.

Avengers: Infinity War parts I & II will be released in 2018 and 2019 respectively, leaving us with a long wait and plenty of time to speculate as to how they will spend what seems an excessive budget (more than triple what they spent on Avengers: Age of Ultron). When two characters team-up, powerful moves can be unleashed like Quicksilver throwing Captain America around to strike several enemies at once.
Super Hero Hype shares that the game will also feature such fan-favorite Marvel Comics characters as Ms. Marvel, Squirrel Girl, Speed of the Young Avengers and the new Thor, along with the Black Widow. The Infinity War storyline is one of the biggest in Marvel history, so it’s no surprise to hear Marvel is already discussing an enormous budget for the film.
