When season four of ABC’s Marvel property picks up, the former Director of SHIELD will find himself back in the field as an agent, with Jason O’Mara playing the mysterious new, as-yet-unnamed Director.
Despite coming back next week, Agents of SHIELD has done an admirable job keeping the thrust of its latest arc under wraps.
“Our ties are at times very direct and at times are more thematic”, Whedon told Entertainment Weekly.
Enzstars reported that Ghost Rider has a very strong connection to the supernatural, much like “Doctor Strange” which introduces magic for the first time in Marvel Universe.
The Marvel Cinematic Universe will pull out eh “It’s All Connected” hashtag this fall, linking Agents of SHIELD with Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange. And we have a game-changing arrival of a highly-anticipated new character. “We want to slowly play with the morality of building these things, whether or not we even should and the scientific questions that come along with it”.
Gabriel Luna on portraying Ghost Rider in Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. While a Ghost Rider story arc may be the overriding theme of the episode, this teaser places emphasis on fan favorites and long-time characters of the Agents of SHIELD series. Agent May (Ming-Na Wen) is tasked with training specialist strike teams, and Fitz (Iain De Caestecker) and Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) have taken a big step forward in their relationship. According to reports, creators of the series are putting their own spin on the popular Marvel character. Eventually, there may be something that allows the two of them to get more on the same page, or at least we hope so. Can the Agents of SHIELD rescue her, before the military closes in? Something tells me a certain vengeance-fueled third party might get the jump on both of them.
