Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD: Season Four Renewal by ABC

When Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. introduced the Inhumans in Season 2, it was only a select group of individuals who were having their abilities awakened by Terrigen, and their existence was a mystery from the general population. ABC has also set renewals for other shows including America’s Funniest Home Videos, The Bachelor, black-ish, Dancing with the Stars, Fresh Off the Boat, The Goldbergs, Grey’s Anatomy, How to Get Away with Murder, The Middle, Modern Family, Once Upon a Time, Scandal, Shark Tank and Quantico.

Coulson’s future was left in question at the end of the current run’s midseason finale when the S.H.I.E.L.D. agent brutally killed Hydra agent Grant Ward (Brett Dalton) on Maveth, an alien planet. This is also a good sign for Marvel as there are reports that a third season for Agent Carter is being approved. However, the growing presence of Inhumans proves to be a polarizing issue, and the S.H.I.E.L.D. team must face conflicting public opinions and defend their team from groups who have a more extreme ideology. “I don’t think he comes back with any easy answer”.

“I don’t think he’s going to know for some time if this was a bad mistake that changes him and maybe turns him into a super-villain”.
