Marvel’s Damage Control Coming To TV From Former Daily Show Scribe
Like the group from the comics, Damage Control will follow the cleaning crew that specializes in tidying up after battles between superheroes and their adversaries in the Marvel universe. The potential project at ABC has received a put pilot commitment at the network, which means there is still a long way to go before this baby becomes a full-sized series. However, the Manhattan based engineering and construction company, Damage Control, are here to clean up the mess and rebuild the property to the way it was.

ABC’s Damage Control is reportedly being developed by Ben Karlin, a former executive producer for The Daily Show and The Colbert Report. It might be fun to see a Marvel show explicitly oriented as a comedy.
It’s unclear if Damage Control will be a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but it will be produced by Marvel Studios and executive produced by Jeph Loeb, Marvel’s Head of Television. The Damage Control team is responsible for returning lost ray guns to their rightful owners, or rescheduling wedding venues after they’ve been vaporized in an epic battle. Additionally, the company has a four-series superhero package at Netflix.
The original comic was published in 1989 in a serialized story published in the anthology comic Marvel Comics Presents #19.

ABC is already home to “Agents of SHIELD” and “Agent Carter“, with a 3rd Marvel project coming from John Ridley, which is now being kept underwaps.
