In an interview with ETonline, Jessica Jones showrunner Melissa Rosenberg confirmed that the show will crossover with fellow Netflix series Daredevil a little earlier than expected.

While we haven’t seen a full trailer or even a teaser yet for Jessica Jones, the unveiling of the official logo is going to trigger quite the social media campaign to start to get viewers more and more excited for one of Netflix’s most prized possessions, especially after the success of Marvel’s Daredevil. In her words:

I think I’m allowed to say: Rosario Dawson will be dropping in Smaller characters that populated that world will be popping in.

Rosenberg also addressed the issue of whether Jones is a “feminist” hero, saying “She herself wouldn’t consider herself a feminist”.

Krysten Ritter stars as the titular character, bringing with her David Tennant, Mike Colter and Carrie-Anne Moss and the show itself will follow the superhero-cum-private detective and her exploits.

The official Jessica Jones Twitter account published the logo on Friday, just a couple of days after the show was teased at the Television Critics Association summer press tour. She’s utterly compelling, both the actress and the character. “[She] is the hardest working woman in show biz”, Rosenberg said of Ritter’s performance. His secrets will dramatically alter Jessica in ways she could never have imagined. Now, with an official logo, it looks like Marvel has found its direction and is sticking to it. It would not be Jessica Jones unless you at least understood how Luke affected her life and where she is.

One can only hope we get some hints at The Punisher here, just a smidge.
