Marvel serves star-studded surprises at Comic-Con for new film slate

However, movies like Black Panther, Spider-Man: Homecoming and finally Captain Marvel also got major new details revealed or confirmed about them as well.

In a night overflowing with special guests and previews, these are the six major takeaways from Marvel’s Comic-Con takeover. Below, we’ve collected the seven best, buzziest clips that SDCC had to offer, which should please audiences of all stripes, whether you’re a fan of superheroes, anitheroes, or just damn good television in general. For a lot of us here at Comic-Con, movies are our life and I can’t imagine what it’s like to grow up and not see yourself, not see your face up there in the lead characters.
Chadwick Boseman plays the titular hero while Michael B. Jordan is his arch nemesis, Erik Killmonger, and Oscar-winning actress Lupita Nyong’o plays the warrior Nakia.
The movie’s cast remained tight-lipped about the plot and their characters, but the trailer shows “magizoologist” Newt Scamander (Redmayne) arrive in NY in 1926 with a case of magical creatures that escape, wreak havoc and face threats from the non-magical humans in the city.
British actor Tom Holland made his debut as the iconic webslinger in this year’s Captain America: Civil War.
During Comic Con this week footage for the new upcoming Marvel’s Spider-Man Homecoming movie was revealed, but as yet it is not yet available to view online.
If you fell face-first into a pile of these comics you’d barely scratch the surface of these weird and wacky takes on presenting the Marvel universe in a odd new light.

What’s also interesting is that Benedict Cumberbatch seems to be the ideal man for the role. There’s also a fresh look at his co-stars Chiwetel Ejiofor (who gets a truly excellent Wi-Fi joke), playing Baron Mordo, and Mads Mikkelsen as the evil, emo Kaecilius.
